Adult day centers enable caregivers to work at a job outside the home or take a break from the demands of providing care, knowing that their loved one is in good hands.
What Are Adult Day Centers?
Adult day centers are non-residential facilities licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Aging. They provide:
- Personal care
- Nursing services
- Social services
- Therapeutic activities
- Meals
- Some centers also offer physical, occupational and speech therapy
