Philadelphia Corporation for Aging (PCA) hosted the closing reception for its 24th annual Celebrate Arts & Aging exhibition on Thursday, May 28, at Center on the Hill in Chestnut Hill.

Held in conjunction with Older Americans Month, Celebrate Arts & Aging highlights the creativity, talent and self-expression of artists age 55 and older from across the region. This year’s exhibition featured 140 original drawings, prints and photographs, showcasing the many ways older adults continue to grow, create and inspire through the arts.

The final reception brought together participating artists, community members and supporters to celebrate the featured works and recognize the important role that creativity plays in healthy aging. Attendees had the opportunity to view the artwork on display, connect with artists and reflect on the power of artistic expression later in life.

PCA’s 2026 Celebrate Arts & Aging signature artist, Russell Williams, was also in attendance. His participation helped underscore the exhibition’s ongoing mission to honor older adult artists and elevate their contributions to Philadelphia’s vibrant arts community.

Through Celebrate Arts & Aging, PCA continues to recognize the creativity, resilience and accomplishments of older adults while promoting positive images of aging throughout Philadelphia.
