Korean Older Adults Health & Information Fair connects community with vital resources

Bill Conallen

On Saturday, April 12, Philadelphia Corporation for Aging (PCA) partnered with Penn Asian Senior Services (PASSi) and the Philip Jaisohn Center to host the Korean Older Adults Health & Information Fair. Held at PASSi’s headquarters in North Philadelphia, the event welcomed dozens of older adults and caregivers from the Korean community for a day of education, connection and celebration.

Attendees enjoyed informative presentations from representatives of PCA, PASSi, the Philip Jaisohn Center, a probate and estate planning attorney, and SeniorLAW Center. The fair also featured exhibitor tables with valuable resources, a lively line dancing session and a complimentary lunch that brought everyone together in fellowship.

The event highlighted the importance of culturally inclusive outreach and services for Korean older adults, helping to promote aging with dignity and access to trusted support. PCA is proud to collaborate with community-based partners to ensure all Philadelphians can thrive as they age.
