Call for artists: PCA’s 2025 Celebrate Arts & Aging show

Alicia Colombo

In conjunction with Older Americans month in May, PCA will hold its 23rd annual Celebrate Arts & Aging (CAA) exhibition of artwork by artists 55+ this year. The event usually features about 150 paintings, drawings, prints, and photographs created by older adults, highlighting the fact that age is just a number and aging is a period of immense growth and productivity. The exhibition will run from May 1-31, 2025.

Any artist 55 and older in the Philadelphia Region can submit original work. To get involved or for more information on the application process and submission guidelines, please call 215-765-9000, ext. 5055. Application deadline is Tuesday, April 1.

This year’s Celebrate Arts & Aging exhibition will be a hybrid event, offering an in-person connection and the opportunity to reach a larger audience virtually. The full collection of original artwork by older adult artists will be compiled into a virtual show (click below to view the 2024 show).
