Common Threads – Diabetes Self-Management Program – Held via Phone
Dates: Wednesday, February 21, 28, March 6, 13, 20, and 27
Times: 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
In the six-week Diabetes Self-Management Program, participants will learn to take charge of their diabetes and associated symptoms, including fatigue, pain, low/high blood sugar, stress, and emotional difficulties such as depression, anger, fear, and frustration. Additional topics include improving strength and endurance, healthy eating, menu planning, blood sugar and medical management, proper foot care, and communication skills.
