Common Threads – Diabetes Self-Management Program
Date: Mondays – September 26, October 3, 10, 17, 24, and 31
Time: 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
In the six-week Diabetes Self-Management Program, participants will learn to take charge of their diabetes and associated symptoms including fatigue, pain, low/high blood sugar, stress, and emotional difficulties (depression, anger, fear, & frustration). Additional topics include improving strength and endurance, healthy eating and menu planning, blood sugar and medical management, proper foot care, and communication skills.
