Important voting deadlines are approaching!
In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, PCA is sharing the following information related to voting by mail in the upcoming primary elections. Below are instructions and important deadlines for voting by mail in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware:
Voter registration deadline: May 18
Primary election date: June 2
Deadline to apply for a mail-in ballot: Tuesday, May 26
Registered voters can apply for a mail-in or absentee ballot online with a valid PA driver’s license or PennDOT photo I.D. Voters do not need to specify a reason for requesting a mail-in a ballot.
Voter registration deadline: June 16
Primary election day: July 7
Deadline to apply for a mail-in ballot: June 30
Registered voters who want to vote by mail should mail the application to their county clerk’s office. A list of all county clerk offices and applications can be found here. Applications must be received seven days prior to the election.

Application must arrive four days before the election date
Registered voters who want to vote absentee should go to ivote.de.gov to complete an absentee ballot application online, or contact their county’s election office for a paper application. Voters will have to give a reason for voting absentee, but self-quarantine or social distancing due to COVID-19 concerns is allowed as a reason.
Voters must return absentee ballots to their county elections office by 8 p.m. on June 2.
