PCA is a private, non-profit, nationally-recognized Area Agency on Aging. PCA receives funding through federal and state sources and relies on your generosity to carry out its mission to provide services to older Philadelphians.
Two Funds to Support Older Philadelphians
PCA has established two funds to support the needs of older Philadelphians:
The Rodney D. Williams Philadelphia Fund for Seniors: This fund supports the vital, basic services PCA provides to help older adults maintain their maximum levels of health and productivity, and to age in place, in the community.
Emergency Fund for Older Philadelphians: This fund is a resource of last resort for low-income older adults in crisis who need help with the basic human needs of shelter, food, heat, and medical needs.
Types of Giving
PCA is always pleased to accept gifts of cash by check or credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover). A cash donation is deductible for the full amount of the gift, subject to certain gross income limitations, if you itemize in the year of contribution. See the table below to learn about the different ways to give.

Most workplace giving programs provide the option to select a specific charity for your donation so please designate PCA when filling out your pledge form.
Matching Gifts
Double or triple your tax-deductible donation to PCA through your company’s matching gifts program. Thousands of companies match charitable contributions made by their employees. United Way
PCA is a United Way Member Agency, as well as a donor choice participant where you can give a fully tax-deductible gift to PCA through your local United Way. Just be sure to include the donor choice number that coincides with the county or area that you want to receive your gift.
Tribute/Memorial Gifts
Tribute Giving is an excellent way for individuals, groups, or businesses to honor individuals instead of giving gifts at special occasions such as holidays, birthdays, or office openings. It is an opportunity for companies to acknowledge a valued relationship with a special person or customer. In addition, tribute gifts to PCA are tax-deductible. Likewise, a memorial gift is a wonderful way to remember a loved one and to benefit older adults in the Philadelphia community. To make a tribute or memorial gift, please call PCA at 215-765-9000, ext. 5053. We will need the name and address of the family member who should receive updates on those who gave in memory of your loved one.
You can advise your family and friends to send contributions to Philadelphia Corporation for Aging, Development Unit, Planning, 642 N. Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA 19130, and mention your loved one’s name

Sponsorship Opportunities
Corporate partners are essential in helping PCA to fulfill its mission. Through the generosity of cash, in-kind donations, and other contributions, we can support older adults and people with disabilities in a broader way. Currently, PCA has sponsorship support for its annual Celebrate Arts & Aging exhibit from PECO, and works with many local and state organizations to create brand preference and drive awareness through a number of PCA-related events and activities geared toward older Philadelphians.
As a corporate partner, your company receives a variety of marketing and recognition opportunities that can generate results in:
Reaching the older adult audience and collaborative partners who work with older adults
Increasing sales, market share and merchandising opportunities
Networking with influential decision makers
Enhancing your corporate image
Increasing product awareness through sampling and brand presence
Linking your products and services to an inspiring cause
