Celebrate Arts & Aging

PCA’s Celebrate Arts and Aging is a month-long citywide event that connects older adults with arts-related programming and promotes the importance of creativity among older artists. It is proven that there is a relationship between healthy aging and participation in arts and cultural programming. Through Celebrate Arts & Aging, PCA raises public awareness about the importance of the arts for older adults and illustrates their ability to continue being creative and productive members of society. Approximately 150 artists participate. Exhibitions are displayed in 3 locations during the entire month of May.
