PCA’s 2026 Celebrate Arts & Aging show

Janai Johnson

In conjunction with Older Americans month, PCA is holding its 24th annual Celebrate Arts & Aging (CAA) exhibition of artwork by artists 55+ during the month of May. This year’s exhibition features 140 drawings, prints, and photographs created by older adults, highlighting the fact that age is just a number and aging is a period of immense growth and productivity.

For more information on the application process and submission guidelines, please email Michael.Drzik@pcaCares.org or call 445-456-0741.

This year’s Celebrate Arts & Aging exhibition will once again be a hybrid event, offering an in-person connection and the opportunity to reach a larger audience virtually. The full collection of original artwork submitted by older adult artists has been compiled into a virtual show (click below to view the 2026 edition).

PCA’s Celebrate Arts & Aging also features three in-person exhibits of selected artwork on display for public viewing in May at the following locations, days and times:

  • Center on the Hill, 8855 Germantown Ave., behind the Presbyterian Church | Public viewing: Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. | Artists’ reception: Thursday, May 28 @ 2–4 p.m.
  • South Philadelphia Older Adult Center, 1430 E. Passyunk Ave. | Public viewing: Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. | Artists’ reception: Thursday, May 21 @ 2–4 p.m.
