LIHEAP Expansion Provides More Funds for Energy Assistance & Extends Program to April 2.
Governor Rendell announced the expansion of PA’s Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP). According to the Governor, ‘smart policy decisions and efficient management of LIHEAP resources’ have allowed for the increase of cash grant amounts by $100 and extension of the program’s closing date from March 15 to April 2. Due to this expansion, an estimated 80,000 additional households may receive assistance through LIHEAP. Read More>>
